Ronnie Forslund grew up in Las Vegas, which quickly inspired his love for mountains. Being apart from glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and high altitude, he sought to see the world in ways that not many do. Drawn to remote areas like the Himalaya, Pamirs, High Andes, and Equatorial Volcanoes, Ronnie captures peaks in ways that evoke wonder, power, mystery, and awe. Creating a story through his camera, not just by how the shot was taken, but why. Using lighting and color to move that story into people’s hearts and reveal the unseen beauty of these remote areas, so that others can be inspired to venture out as well.
